Products Description: Clearco Silicone Greases are PDMS Silicone Grease Compounds that are formulated for a wide range of applications. They are characterized by their wide service temperature range, high thermal stability, low temperature stability, hydrophobic nature, high dielectric strength, excellent lubricity, inertness to virtually all components, and insulation against corrosion and moisture.
Silicone Grease Compounds are formulated from 100% synthetic sources and inhibit growth of mold, fungus and bacteria. They are used for lubricating O-rings, gaskets, valves and seals as well as surfaces that require excellent lubricating properties over long periods without drying out. They cling to the surfaces and withstand frequent hose-down and wash-downs without requiring re-application.
Our Silicone Grease Compounds are available in 3 different stiffness ratings, NLGI#1 (least stiff), NLGI#2 (medium stiffness) & NLGI#3 (very stiff).
Silicone Grease 3005 NSF H1 Food Grade
Silicone Grease 3005 is registered with the NSF as an H1 Lubricant and meets corresponding FDA 21 CFR specifications for use where incidental contact with food may occur. It is widely used in food processing, food packaging, bottling, and canning applications.
Silicone Grease NLGI#1 (least stiff) O‐Ring and Valve Lubricant
Silicone Grease NLGI#1 O‐Ring and Valve Lubricant is a PDMS Silicone Grease Compound, composed of Polydimethylsiloxane and inert silica‐filler. NLGI#1 Silicone Grease Compound is the least stiff of the silicone greases and the easiest to apply.
Silicone Grease NLGI#2 (medium stiffness) O‐Ring and Valve Lubricant
Silicone Grease NLGI#2 O‐Ring and Valve Lubricant is a PDMS Silicone Grease Compound, composed of Polydimethylsiloxane and inert silica‐filler. NLGI#2 has a medium stiffness and is the most widely used of the greases.
Silicone Grease NLGI#3 (highest stiffness) O‐Ring and Valve Lubricant
Silicone Grease NLGI#3 O‐Ring and Valve Lubricant is a PDMS Silicone Grease Compound, composed of Polydimethylsiloxane and inert silica‐filler. The NLGI#3 is the stiffest silicone grease and used in applications where high vacuum and high pressure are present. Due to its ultra‐stiff consistency, it is extremely tenacious in staying on the surface and will not wash off easily.
