Silicone Bath Fluids

Clearco offers a wide range of Silicone Bath Fluids for low temperature and high temperature applications.

Low Temperature Silicone Bath Fluids are clear, colorless and odorless PDMS fluids that are characterized by their low visocsities, low viscosity-to-temperature coefficients (little viscosity change at low temperatures), low pour points, low temperature stability, and compatibility with virtually all surfaces including metal, rubbers, plastics.

Medium Silicone Bath Fluids are clear, colorless and odorless PDMS fluids that are characterized by their high thermal stability, high resistance to oxidation, low vapor pressure, high flash points, high dielectric strength and compatibility with virtually all surfaces including metal, rubbers, and plastics.

High Temperature Silicone Bath Fluids are comprised of Phenyl class Silicone Fluids that exhibit significantly higher thermal stability than conventional PDMS fluids. They will remain stable @ 300C in a closed system. We also offer a heatstabilized PDMS fluid, the HT-110 High Temp Silicone Bath Fluid.

Silicone Heat Transfer Fluids

Pure Silicone Fluid 350cSt NSF H1 Food Grade is a 100% PDMS Silicone Oil or Polydimethylsiloxane (CAS # 63148‐62‐9) with a viscosity of 350cSt. It is registered with the NSF as an H1 lubricant and meets FDA 21 CFR specifications for use in Food Production, Food Processing, Food Packaging, Manufacture of Paper and Paperboard for Food Products, Food Treatment, Bottling and Canning, Food Transportation and Food Shipment areas where incidental contact with food may occur.

Dielectric Silicone Fluids

Clearco offers a full line of Dielectric Silicone Fluids.

STO-50 Silicone Transformer Oil: If you require a silicone fluid for use in a transformer, STO-50 is the choice. STO-50 is a clear, colorless and odorless linear Polydimethylsiloxane fluid (CAS# 63148-62-9) with a viscosity of 50cSt. Unlike conventional fluids, the STO-50 is dehydrated to contain < 50ppm water content to ensurethe highest degree of dielectric strength and thermal stability. It meets IEC 836 specifications for use in a transformer.

Low Temperature Dielectric Silicone Fluids (-80°C to 220°C) are clear, colorless and odorless linear Polydimethylsiloxane fluids that are characterized by their high dielectric strength, low viscosity, low viscosity-to-temperature coefficients (little viscosity change at low temperatures), low pour points, stability @ low temperatures, and compatibility with virtually all surfaces including metal, rubbers and plastics. The PSF-2cSt and PSF-5cSt are widely used in Freeze Drying and heat transfer applications that require a fluid with low viscosity and low pour point.

Wide Temperature Dielectric Silicone Fluids (-50°C to 230°C) are clear, colorless and odorless linear Polydimethylsiloxane fluids (CAS# 63148-62-9). They are characterized by their dielectric strength, high flash points, high thermal stability, high resistance to oxidation, low vapor pressure, and compatibility with virtually all surfaces including metal, rubbers and plastics.

High Temperature Dielectric Silicone Fluids (25°C to 300°C) are clear, colorless and odorless phenyl-class silicone fluids. They are characterized by their high dielectric strength, high flash points, high thermal stability, high resistance to oxidation, low vapor pressure and compatibility with virtually all surfaces including metal, rubbers and plastics.
