Use: Mr. Clearco Food Grade Silicone Spray is a Food Grade Silicone Spray that will lubricates and protects Scuba Equipment, Scuba Apparel and Scuba Gear from salt, oxidation, chlorine and corrosion. . It is safe on all plastics, rubber, neoprene, Buna, nitrile, EPDM, Gortex, ………virtually all sensitive plastics and rubbers. It possesses a clean spray pattern and a light spray is all that is needed to provide the lubrication and corrosion protection that you require.
Mr Clearco Food Grade Silicone Spray is registered with the NSF/USDA as an H1 lubricant that is approved for use in food packaging and food processing applications where incidental contact with food may occur. In addition, it meets or exceeds FDA 21 CFR 175.300 for use in federally inspected food processing plants. The active ingredient is 100% food grade polydimethylsiloxane (CAS # 63148-62-9) with a temperature range of –40°C to 200°C.
The silicone film that is imparted on the surface provides excellent lubricity, high dielectric strength, and protection against corrosion. It is safe to use on the majority of plastic and rubber surfaces.
